Edit: immediately upon posting this review, the general manager, Michael Coutu, reached out to me and wanted to make the situation better. He acknowledged what happened, spoke to his team to ensure this wouldn’t happen again, and provided compensation to make the situation right. I really appreciate how much he cared to make it better and I will now be returning as a repeat customer. Original review: I bought a used 2019 Mazda CX-3 at Mazda Brossard in March 2024. Originally when I made the purchase I was happy with the service I received, but a few issues have occurred since then and it has completely tainted my experience. Firstly, I bought the car with summer tires, and in the negotiations we agreed to include winter tires on rims. I stored these winter tires with them in the summer, and when I had my appointment to put them on in the winter, the first thing that the mechanic said was “your rims are very rusted and they’ll need to be replaced”. I mentioned to him that I had never once used the tires and they were sold to me that way. He shrugged off my concern and no one took any accountability for them selling to me in this condition. Secondly, I got the vehicle inspected when I bought it and the report said that the battery needed to be replaced. We agreed they would replace it and this was put in the sales contract. Only 10 months later, my battery died. I called them to talk about this as a car battery should not die in such a short period of time, and they said they it is their common practice to put in “recycled batteries”, meaning they put an old used battery in my car that died shortly later. During this conversation they spoke with no empathy for the situation and didn’t offer any solution to help. I understand that my car was used, and by no means was I expecting perfection but I am honestly shocked that I would need to specify that my tire rims should not be rusty and that a replaced battery should be new.

Update: They called me and apologized. Did there best to fix it. --------------------------------- They booked me for a 7:30am service and they were not open, they even sent me a text to confirm the appointment.
